ARTFUL MATH - Literacy, Numeracy - Creating with Crayola

In this practical, hands-on workshop you will explore ways to encourage both numeracy and literacy through art. You will create 3-D models with Model Magic and paper, and learn how to extend the use of crayons and markers to create numeracy-rich art projects that incorporate skills such as measurement, patterning, symmetry and graphing. You will go home with a variety of fun ways to spark the interest of even your most reluctant learners. Participants will receive the Artful Math Project book.
