Shakespeare's sonnets and soliloquies are difficult for students to access and challenging for educators to teach. This session will attempt to make both of these processes a little easier. In the case of sonnets, knowledge of poetic devices is key and in the case of soliloquies, a strong grasp of the particular play is crucial. However, ultimately, the teacher's passion for the Bard's poetry is the most essential component to bridging the gap between the text and the students.
