The National Film Board of Canada (l'Office national du film) is the destination for Canadian teachers seeking French language film and media resources. This session will explore the NFB’s enormous catalogue of French language resources for the classroom, including teacher guides, digital lessons and the world’s largest offer of Indigenous cinema for K-12. Explore CAMPUS, the NFB’s education streaming service which is available to all Surrey teachers, and learn how to curate your own thematic playlists to share with your students. From Quebec city, to Maillardville, this session will also highlight local films that celebrate the identities of Canada’s unique francophone communities from coast-to-coast.
